Kenai Alaska
We spent last night in Kenai, Alaska at the Beluga Lookout RV park. Â This was a great little park right on the ocean. Â The weather was very mild when we arrived, and as the day progressed, the weather got rainy, and very windy. Â We walked a while, and then it was so cold we came inside. Â We were able to watch the bay, and around 10 pm the boats started heading out into the open ocean. Â The water was so rough, the boats were dipping and flopping up and down. Â Eagles played among the other birds.
This morning we left the Kenai peninsula and drove to Anchorage. Â We are in the Golden Nugget RV park and the park is packed like sardines. Â There are two caravans, and they are mostly huge RVs pulling tows. Â Lord have mercy, we do NOT like being this tightly packed. Â We enjoy the wilderness way better.
Tomorrow we will drive  100 miles or so to Talkeetna where we will stay for 4 nights.  Rather than going back into Denali, we are going to take the Hurricane Turn train out into the wilderness.  The rest of our visit will be enjoying the area before heading out of Alaska.
The photos today are from several days on the peninsula.
