Four states in eight hours
October 3, 2012 - 4:38 pm
We decided last night to drive to Lancaster, PA, since we would be so close to it when we start driving the Skyline Drive through the Shenandoah Valley. Â We are in the Olde Mill Stream RV Park in Lancaster. Â Great campground!!!
We have rented a car for Thursday and Friday to do some sightseeing. Then we will spend Saturday on the campground, doing laundry, reading, etc. Â Sunday we will turn south for the beginning of the Skyline Drive.
Oh! Â The four states we drove through today are Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Wish you could send some of that rain down our way. We are DRY as a bone again! Looks like you will be in for some cool fall weather soon. Have fun.

It’s great that you guys are so flexible about where you are going. Sounds like you’re already having a great time!

Can’t believe you and Greg drove through 4 states in one day. I thought your limit was 250 to 300 miles. Always wanted to see the Amish country.
